We also advise on the JFK Library Hemingway Research Grant awarded each year.
The Hemingway Society holds biennial conferences in places significant to Ernest Hemingway, in both U.S. and international venues. The conferences feature scholarly and creative treatments of his life and work.
The PEN/Hemingway Award, established in 1976 by Ernest Hemingway's widow, Mary, is given for a novel or a book of short stories by an American author who has not previously published a book of fiction.
