Do plan to register early. Why?
1) Early birds will save money.
2) Should you plan to travel the Conference on the bus, remember seating is limited. First come, first served.
3) Seating is also limited at the fund raisers and the closing banquet. Again, first come, first served.
4) The sooner we know how many will attend the Conference the better we can serve everyone.

XIX International Hemingway Conference
in Sheridan Wyoming
and Cooke City Montana
July 17-23, 2022
Panels for the Conference have been organized, special events confirmed. The program will soon be ready to share with all of you. Registration will also to begin soon. Keep an eye on the Hemingway Society web page. I encourage you to take advantage of “early bird“ registration both in order to save money and to insure you can obtain a spot at the optional event(s) that interest you. Several venues have limited occupancy, and the bus option has very limited seating. Details about the bus option are posted on the conference transportation web page.
Book your lodging in Cooke City soon if you haven’t already. The village is just a couple of miles from a northern entrance to Yellowstone Park and we will compete with park visitors for beds. Lodging information for both venues is posted on the Society web page.
I remind you that everyone who presents at the Conference must be a current member of the Hemingway Society.

Registration Coming Soon
But don't let "coming soon" stop you from making preparations for the conference right now. This especially applies to lodging in Cooke City (July 21st thru 23rd), the small town just outside of Yellowstone National Park and to the Old West Cookout at Yellowstone the evening of July 22nd.
And then register for the conference online just as soon as it is available online. Early registration is extremely important this year, because if you don't drive or rent a car, bus transportation from the airport (Billings, MT) to the conference is very limited. In addition to that, some of the optional events have limited seating.
We will email all members a notice 3 days before online registration begins. For that reason you should become a member now or renew your membership now if it isn't valid through the end of the conference, July 23rd. You will want to make sure you receive that email to members.
If you register for the conference early, your registration is fully refundable, for any reason, until 30 days before the conference begins, making that deadline June 23rd.
With all that said, have you seen the Conference Overview? What a great conference we are going to have in Hemingway's back yard. You don't want to miss a minute.
