Hemingway's
bedroom and study run the width of the house, on the left side when
the house is viewed from the front. It opens off the left wall
of the living room (the one with the records on it). The bed is
to the left of that door; the desk and bookcases are to the right.
The bathroom and closet open out of the study portion of
the room.

This
wall faces Hemingway's chair. According to the Finca staff,
the Cape buffalo on the wall is the one that inspired "The Short
Happy Life of Francis Macomber."
