The Hinkle Fund—This
fund helps to subsidize travel by graduate students to our biennial conferences.
The Smith-Reynolds Fund—This fund helps to subsidize Hemingway research by graduate students, independent
scholars, and post-docs up through the level of assistant professor.
The Cuba Fund—This
fund supports a fellowship open to all scholars (undergraduate, graduate,
independent, and professors at all ranks), to advance projects of any sort that
explore Hemingway’s Cuban connections.
PEN/Hemingway Award —This
fund helps to pay for the administration expenses and prize money for one of the
Hemingway Foundation’s primary responsibilities and one of the nation’s most
prestigious literary awards: the PEN Hemingway Foundation Award for a first work
fund contributes directly to the endowment of the Hemingway Foundation. This
money is used to pay for the PEN/Hemingway Award and for the day-to-day
administration of the Foundation. Growing this fund can help to better secure
the long-term health of this organization.
